MyMediasite Quickstart Guide

This quickstart guide serves as a collection of links to training videos, instructions, and FAQ entries to get you started with using MyMediasite to publish presentations.

Submit a Media Capture support request in the LCSEE Systems Service Center.


MyMediasite

MyMediasite is your home for creating, uploading, managing, securing, and sharing your Mediasite presentations. 

People logging in for the first time may need to fill out a short registration form. Faculty and staff should use their Office365 Outlook email address and students should use their MiX email address. Check your email to validate your profile.

Recording Mediasite Presentations with your Computer

Using Mediasite Mosaic is how you take your video creation to the next level.

Give your viewers a way to simultaneously see your screen or slides and camera and hear your microphone audio, or combinations of the above. The viewer can enlarge the content that is most relevant to the presentation, get supplemental links, complete polls, ask questions, search text, complete quizzes, and more.

Creating, Uploading Video Files, Sharing

If you already have a collection of video files from your computer or mobile devices, or if you want to create a basic, stand-alone video file, you can upload those to MyMediasite to then share for on-demand viewing.
