How do I manipulate .zip files using Ubuntu?

Submit a LOUD support request in the LCSEE Systems Service Center.

In the file browser, you can double click on a zip file and it will open.

To create zip files you can run Applications->Accessories->file-roller to manipulate zip and other archive formats such as bzip2.
